Arguably William Shakespeare's most renowned comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream follows four Athenian lovers who escape from their families to the woods, but not without a visit from the forest's fairies whose king and queen are in the midst of a custody battle. Oberon, king of the fairies, tries to help the young couples, but his servant Puck mistakes one for the other and chaos ensues. Meanwhile, the city's mechanicals are hard at work rehearsing a wedding day play for Duke Theseus and his bride under the careful direction of their leader, Peter Quince. But even the mechanicals are not safe from the fairies mischief as their own weaver, Nick Bottom, falls prey to Puck's practical jokes and in turn, Titania, queen of the fairies, falls in love with Bottom.
